SOME people literally go au naturel and do what comes naturally when they are in the presence of Mother Nature, says STOMPer Prometheus.

He was referring to photos he received via email purportedly showing what a couple did when they did a walkabout at Bukit Timah Hill. Not only did they treat the nature reserve like a nudist colony by going in the buff, they also made passionate love there, in broad daylight.

Prometheus says he can't verify other details but points out that the photos look authentic. The couple is a Chinese couple who looks "local", although they could be Malaysian too, he says.

Who took the photos is another issue, Prometheus adds. It could be the work of a nature photography buff who had humans instead of birds and insects in the focus of his lens. Or he could well be a voyeur.

New skate park at East Coast for extreme sports enthusiasts

STOMPer skateboarder says hundreds of teenagers come to the Xtreme Skate Park at East Coast Park to indulge in their extreme sports.

In an email to STOMP today (Jul 10), the STOMPer says:
“These pictures were taken at the Xtreme Skate Park near the Bedok Jetty at East Coast Park.

“Every day, hundreds of teenagers come here to display their skills by skating on skateboards and inline skates. The more well heeled kids will come with their Shimano BMX bikes to show off their riding skills. The high end Shimano BMC bike can cost as much as 1 597 euros (S$3267).

“The trees are newly planted and you can still see the guy poles attached to the stems of the trees.

“Some of the kids were very daring and they even jumped off the skateboard near the top of the ramp and then successfully retrieved the skateboard when it was descending.

“The Xtreme Skate Park offers ramps and rails for inline skating, skateboarding, BMX bikes and scooters. The skating enthusiasts usually bring along their elbow pads, knee pads and helmets which can cost a big sum of money.”
